My girlfriend had a pap which indicated that she could have a mild case of HPV. Is HPV contracted through un-protected sex? I have only had sex with her, so could she still get the virus from me? or from one of her other partners?

Almost ALL women get 'mild' results sometime in their lives. Her doctor should have told her not to stress about it and to come back in three months to see if it went away on its own before going further with treatments. It can be spread through sex, but sometimes it just shows up by itself.
