Will you get a positive pregnancy test with an atopic pregnancy?

Question:
I have had my tubes tied for 9 years, I got it done when I was just 21(2 months after my birthday). I'm very late and think I maybe pregnant.

Answers:
Maybe. You will get a positive pregnancy test if the test detects the presence of Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HcG) in your blood. If you are pregnant and the fertilized egg has implanted somewhere other than your uterus, you may still get a positive pg test because HcG will still be there, but probably at lower than normal levels. Or, if the test you use isn't very sensitive, the test may come out negative. The best suggestion I have is to get a beta HcG test which is a blood test. This will tell you exactly how HcG is in your blood, if any. BTW I assume you meant "ectopic" pregnancy. Go get the blood test, because your health is at risk if you have an ectopic pregnancy!
yes you can have a positive result with a pregnancy in the tubes, i did and before i got a chance to see the doctor i miscarried so please go to your doctor do not Waite, your tubes could burst and kill you.
