FINALLY an answer to this horrible pain.?

Question:

I finally got in to see my OB/GYN doctor today. I had a huge cyst on my left ovary that ruptured. I still have some fluid from it bursting, I was given some pain killers called Vicroprofen to take as needed for pain. And she also recommanded taking Loestrin 24 Fe birth control and gave me a three month supply. So I am going to try! I am not to up on taking birth control, since women in my family on both sides have a hard time getting preg. But, I am not trying at this time, so I feel I have to do whatever will help me in the long run. She said that this is the best birth control and that it really helps with Ovarian cyst. Has anyone else took this Birth control? Thanks for eveyones answers during the past week. Everyone has been very helpful and encouraging.
