what can I do that will quickly raise my metabolism for a long while so I can lose weight?

My metabolism is like, nothing. I'm at that age now, where it has stopped working. I watch what I eat and can not lose weight. I probably need to exercise a lot more, but it is hard w/a 2 year old. I squeeze in walking whenever I can. I know it is important to work out for at least 20 minutes to burn fat.
If I could just find something to eat or drink or take to increase my metabolism, that would be great.

Your base metabolism is going to be what your heart is used to. Raising it artificially, especially for an extended period of time is extremely dangerous even if you don't have any heart defects. If you're set on that as the way to lose weight, every 25 minutes during the day when you are sitting down get up and do 3 minutes of simple arm or other stretching exercises whenever you can. This will raise your metabolism in line with your heart"s expectations, and burn an extra 2-300 calories each day.

Metabolite is the only diet pill that works.
If you were in High School you would know the girls buy diet pills like candy. Everyone has a purse full. If you want the guys you gotta be skinney. Most make you jump around in class you can't concentrate and doesn't really help you to lose weight.
Except metabolite , regular not the extra that's loaded with cafine.
Unless you got a exercise class makes it hard to sit still in class.
Use the extra when you got swim meet or athletic event.
Guys use it to run faster, all the cafine. fHodia is a bunch of crap.
It didn't work for anyone. We all took it. The metabolic works and you don't get nervous. I was on a thyroid enhancer called Phentermine for three months, starting in December.
