I totally agree with stormwarnfm. I think that if any women on the base do not like you it has nothing to do with your looks but it is all about your attitude. Remember, pretty is is pretty does. You can look awesome but if you are a b*tch you will be the ugliest person in the world. I know people who are absolutely drop dead gorgeous on the outside but as soon as they open their mouths people are repulsed by them. On the other hand, I have known people who would not be considered "one of the pretty people" and yet their personalities make them beautiful and people are lined up to go out with them.Remember, too, that beauty fades but ugly is to the bone. Stop being so conceited and full of yourself and you might actually make some friends instead of making everyone hate you.
If your avatar is any indication of how you parade around on base then that is why they look at you like they do, it wouldn't be your shape or perkiness. Its probaby the hideous get ups you display. And I was a military daughter then wife for twenty-nine years of my life and I haven't come into the problem as you describe. No I am not fat, I was anorexic when I was a teenager and now I am a size six.
