Why are girls expected to be shorter than guys and if they're taller why are they considered weird?

Those who think so are narrow minded. The basic idea is that girls should always be below men both physically and in other aspects. I don't think it's weird. Actually I'd love to grow tall..:)

Girls aren't actually expected to be shorter than boys. Girls in general are smaller than guys. And if girls are taller than boys they are not considered weird. Anyone who would consider this weird must have lived a very limited life so far.

I dont think that they are expected to be shorter..they just usually are.

I have had girlfriends that were much shorter then I and I'm over 6 foot. However, I prefer a taller woman to dance with. In fact if you watch any of the dance shows on TV.notice that the women are usually just as tall as the men. It presents a much more balanced look. And of course there is nothing wrong with a long long long pair of legs!

I think everybody expect a woman to sort of "fit" their size.I am quite tall and didn't mind being with a guy that was shorter than me but he was feeling "lower" in phyhological sence! I was with a guy much taller than me and when we kissed my back hurted like hell! so, we are of all kinds. :))

Guys are like, bigger than girls, I guess.

But I used to go out with an amazing guy, and he was shorter than me! But I didn't really care.

1) guys are naturally taller
2) guys that think girls who are tall are wierd and intimidated b/c they think it's manly to be tall and they are controlling
