I have horrible allergies in my eyes that starts when we get our?

Question:

first cool front. Have been bothered for several years, not that the itch so bad but they get dry adn just drive me crazy to the point I have to really catch a good day to be able to wear mascara all day long. I do know the fronts that come in bother them bad and that I am allergic to smoke from cigarets and from smoke from a fireplace really tears them up. Does anyone know of something I can use to HELP? I can't afford to go to an allergist. I have used benedryl that helps some and a drop for allergy eyes called FML. Also I use the resisin (spelling wrong) anyway it helps kep your eyes moist. HELP HELP

Answers:
You might want to try some type of over-th-counter allergy meds which might help. If it is extremely bad, you really should see some DR for a RX which would do you MORE good.

One thing is to NOT touch your eyes to rub them. Allergies only worsen if you use your fingers to rub your eyes.
