what causes phleboliths?
Question:
Answers:
i am assuming you mean phlebitis.
phlebitis is caused by irritation to a vein, which causes inflammation to the vein, and usually a red painful, swollen, warm area by the vein that was irritated.
in order to relieve the pain, try advil, and try warm heat like a heating pad on the place where the phlebitis is. you may also want to try elevating the limb that is affected.
