Pregnancy: I have started to have severe cramping and diarrhea...when should I be worried?

Question:
I'm about 6 weeks pregnant and for the last two days I've had terrible stomach pains and then diarrhea. I'm pretty sure that it's not connected to a m/c but it's still a bit scarry. It's usually right after I eat...no matter how big or small the meal is, or even during the meal. I don't really trust my doctors because I live in China and they are so backward here it's pathetic! I went to my first OB appointment and they did not touch me except for giving me an UltraSound...which I thought was pretty odd. They did not check the RH factor/blood type of my husband since he doesn't know what he is- no prenatal vitamins were issued or suggested- my weight/ hgt/ temp/ blood pressure were not taken and they only gave me a urine test...no blood. When should I start worrying about this and where cn I get reliable information on the web so I can start monitoring myself at least? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks~

Answers:
GI upset is pretty common in pregnancy, and it can last pretty much till you deliver. Look out for spotting or a crampy feeling though, those can be warning signs. US at 6 weeks is pretty standard, especially if you're not certain about the dates. Do you know what your blood type is? If you're A, B, AB or O + it doesn't matter what hubby's type is. If you're -, they may just give you Rhogam to prevent any problems. Prenatals aren't absolutely necessary, but you can take a childrens vitamin if you'd feel better about it.

You can also try a website search for pregnancy related stuff, there are tons of resources out there.

Congrats and good luck
You should be asking your doctor these questions not YAHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
