Is it normal to have pressure and pain in vagina opening before heavy menstrual?

and then only have a heavy period for one day, then the next 1 or 2 days have just a small amount of brown not even enough to feel a small tampon?

I had that problem and went to the Dr's and he found a cyst. If I were you I would make an appointment with your Dr just to make sure everything is ok. It could also be due to stress in your life.

no. mine doesnt do that mine shoots out grape soda.!! It's never "normal" to have pain and pressure sensations near or in the vaginal area.
Are you perimenopausal? That can cause a change in your cycles and bleeding.
Keep a calendar of your period, noting everything about your period that you can. Consult your doctor if the pain and or pressure sensation continues, and if the bleeding concerns you. Having the calendar with notes will help your doctor and it will help you remember also so between the two of you, a plan of action can be obtained.
