I agree with Mini. Eat lots of fiber. There are so many ways to sneak it into your day now. There are high fiber breads, tortillas, and cereals. Try to get at least 25 g of fiber a day. That's enough to keep you regular with out harsh laxatives.
This may sound gross, but when I was pregnant it helped out so much. My doctor called the drink Dr. Pooper because it taste exactly like Dr. Pepper. In an 8 oz glass pour in 1/4 7-up in 3/4 prune juice - drink up. You should have no problems.
