What cause burning after sex?

Question:

Answers:
1. Not enough lubrication.
2. Either partner may have an infection causing the irritation.
3. Yeast infection.
4. Too long of a session.

Other Answers:
I would have to ask if your using a condom or lubricant? If so it might be the latex in the condom or the type of lubricant that your using.
An allergic reaction to the latex or a simple urinary tract infection.
Too much friction...need more lube.
Or you could have a yeast infection which is aggravated by sex...have it checked out by a doctor if you're not sure.
Agreed---and it could also be that particular type of condom. I can't use trojans they irritate me and give me yeast infections, can't use flavored ones for the same reason, but Durex Love condoms I have no problem with. Wash the area wiht a gentle cleanser (I personally use the "intimate cleanser" stuff, cause I can't use soap) and get some vagasil cream to ease the discomfort is what I would (and do) do.

Oh, if it is too much friction (and even if it's not), an ice pack down there feels really good (found this out when they gave me one after I gave birth to my youngest). Obviously don't put it on your bare skin, through your panties or wrapped in a thin towel.
Raw mucus membranes due to vaginitis which could be caused by fungi or STD's is frequently the case.
Get a check up to be sure everything is in order and this site may answer some questions.
