Adoption and stuff?

Question:
I have a genetic condition which is inherited dominantly, meaning my kids would have a %50 chance of getting it. It is called neurofibromatosis, causing benign little tumors to grow on the nevers. It is more of a pain than anything. Not deadly. The tumors though will increase in growth while I am pregnant more than likely. I have two in my brain. Do I chance it and have a baby? Or do I adopt a child from another country? Please give advice.

Answers:
I have neurofibromatosis. My mother had it and she had 3 children. I was the only one to inherit. I had just one child and she also has it but to a much lesser degree than me. So far neither of her two children show any signs and they are teenagers. It's a decision that only you can make. My tumors did not increase in size much while I was pregnant, but I did get some new ones.
I would be glad to share more with you if you'd care to email me.
If the pregnancy is risky, I don't think it's a good idea. It's always special having your own baby but adoption is a great thing. I'm just wondering though, why adopt outside of this country? I know there are plenty of needy children in other countries but what about the ones that are right here in our country?
