Could this be an STD?
Question:
Answers:
It depends. Many women don't pay attention to their normal discharge which can range from thick, like you described, to very thin.
When it's thick, that's the body's way of keeping sperm from being able to swim up to and past the cervix. Thin, that's when the sperm can swim easily.
A very thick discharge can also mean a yeast infection. While not an STD, it's uncomfortable. An STD is usually signaled by a foul smelling and discolored discharge. Please note that WHITE is not 'discolored', white is a NORMAL color.
of course
