Just got paptest result, slight abnormality, Im 56, shows no HPV, should I worry?

Question:

Answers:
The purpose of a pap is to detect earlier cell changes that could eventually turn into a possible cervical cancer.
.Because a slight abnormality could be caused by a minor irritation, such as a slight yeast infection, your doctor will probably want to redo a pap to make sure there is no dysplagia (pre-cancer cells)
.no worry, even if dsyplasia they usually can freeze your cervix and it will take care of it.

Other Answers:
Are you still having periods? Should not have pap during this time (wait until halfway between each cycle). Slightly abnormal might be no problem. What did doctor say? Check site below for questions to ask your doctor.
