My sister did. If you spit and it turns brown it is said to be a girl. If it turns blue it is said to be a boy.but being a new mom myself, there are MANY pregnancy myths out there..dont believe everything!!

All I know is that if you are pregnant, you should stay away from most chemicals. who cares if it's a boy or girl? Your baby is growing.. if you want to know the sex of your baby, get an ultrasound!
