i need some advice about the iud?
Question:
Answers:
it is going to depend on which IUD you had fitted the mirena coil that has hormones in it can take a long time to settle.
When i had mine fitted I was hospitalised 24hrs after due to pain and had irregular bleeding for nine months. I went and had it all checked out and everything was fine so i persevered and 3years later it is the best thing ever.
The bleeding could be due to the sex as the IUD strings could be rubbing around your crevix and causing slight bleeding. If it is still painful and you want to put your mind at rest visit you practice nurse or sexual health centre and they wll be able to advise you further.
I hope it all works out for you!

Not sure, but each time you get pregnant, you will miscarry your baby.
It sounds like it hasn't been fitted correctly or has moved, you need to get it checked as it could give you an infection or even tear you inside, bleeding for no reason is a sign something is not right go see your doctor asap it is common to have irregular bleeding with a new IUD, and your period could become heavier, having sex should not make a difference, however if you continue to be in pain i would advice you to get it checked out, there is an IUD called the marena that has the same hormones in it as the pill and this usually lightens bleeding
good luck
