Girlz Only Plz...?

Hey,
I won't name the actual prescriptions I've had because I know there are others that do the the same thing. There is a Birth Control shot that after a couple of months will make your period complelty go away. You have to go in every 3 months or 6 months depending on the type of shot, but in a few months your period complelty goes away. I guess it is healthy, because the Dr. Warns you it is going to happen.
There is also BC Pills now that makes it where you won't have a period for 3 months. Then you will have one (mine was always light 2 days). If it came at a really really bad time. I would skip the white pills all together and go on to the next 3 months worth and not have a period at all. When I told the Dr. What I did she said it wouldn't really hurt anything.
Always Talk to you Dr. First Before taking lame brain advice from any of us OK ! LOL

Yep.
As far as I know- yes.
It works for me. 3 days and I'm done.
Yup...sorry
Yes, pretty much. It makes them shorter, lighter, with less cramps. But it's not right for everyone. Talk to your OB, they have lower doses now that will work just as well. Good luck! ;)
yes, other than a hysterectomy.
yes....sorry but that's about your only option. Good news is that the low dose birth control is much safer than it use to be. GOOD LUCK!
That is what I have heard...
if you are very athletic and you get your body fat much below 18% you may lose your period.
This is a very typical occurance for women to compete in body building of figure competitions.
But, I don't believe it is healthy.
Taking the pill does not always mean you will end up with shorter periods. It affects each of us different. If you have been using a birth control that works for you, I would stick with it.
I went on the pill when I was younger, and had severe periods, clotting etc...and very severe leg cramps. I had to get off them. You can not stay on them for a long period neither. My sister died of an aneurysms of the brain, and they said it could have been cause from being on the pill to many years.
To each his own our bodies are all different. Just make sure you follow the guidelines if you do decide to get on the pill
No, it is not the only way, but it may be the safest way.
Women that starve themselves may have a shorter, lighter or nonexistant period.
Also prolonged strenuous exercise like the kind Olympic Athletes endure will shorten the period or make it go away completely.
NO. Balanced diet and excersice plus a calcium supplement and multi vitamin will give you shorter periods. This is what worked for me when I was 14 and my parents felt I needed help with my periods but was too young for birth control.
Yes
i dont know, but i do have friends who have shorter periods and i know dont take birth control. i have an asian friend who her periods would just come and go, and it would occur at any time. she went for an entire five months without getting her periods. however, if it is true, i would sure like to take that. i get mine really bad, and mine always comes on time and lasts the full week.
Sadly I think so.
