Why breasts lose firmness as age?

Question:
Mine are turning into granny breasts. They are not as fibrous. It is sad because mine were sooo beautiful. I should have showed them to more people. I have not had children and am turning 38 this month.

Answers:
As you get older your skin looses its elasticity. Not wearing a bra makes them sag when you get older.

Other Answers:
That is interesting because most of my older (late 40's) friends that are childless have the best looking breasts. There are exercises that build up the pecs underneath like the bench press , and birth control pills might do the trick. It's worth a shot. See what you think and of course there are the serious side effects to consider.Good luck and I hope you get what you need.
Can also be due to the loss of fat cells (adipose tissue) in the breast as age advances.
lol .
The boobs actually don't become less firm, it's the skin and tissue that's beginning to sag a bit and yes, women with smaller breasts and fibrous tissue have a slight advantage there. As you age, the fatty tissue begins to separate from the skin and follow the path of least resistance in the southern direction. That's why people over 40 get jowls.
Short of surgery, you might do a bit of exercise to firm up the muscles underneath and those that run from the side of the breast to the upper arm. It won't solve the problem entirely, but it'll improve the appearance somewhat.
This page might be of help.

Things just aren't the same when you age.
