Does anyone know the average price of a breast reduction?

Question:
Also, is it true that they put silicone inside to keep shape?!
Has anyone experienced one or know someone who has?

Answers:
The price depends on your surgeon. Mine was $6000, not including hospital costs. Of course, I was covered by insurance. But your insurance will probably cover yours too.

As for silicone, that seems very unlikely. With the reduction, they basically get rid of the excess fat and skin, so they create the shape with your natural breast.

I really recommend the surgery. It was one of the best things I've ever done for myself. The results were breathtaking. The surgery was easy and almost painless. Ask your insurance about covering you. Or look for a surgeon in your area and get a consultation.

Other Answers:
about $10,000, unless you have a really good insurance that will pay for it, i don't know about the silicone thing, and i don't know anyone that has experienced, sorry i couldn't be more help, good luck!

it costs more than to get implants. my mum, most my aunty's and both my sister get theres reduced. they don't put anything inside the breasts to keep it in shape. maybe depending how much breast tissue they take out because if they take out too much then you'll have small breasts but just depends on what size you originally were
