How do I fix a very severe razorburn around the pubic area?

Question:
I've never had a razor burn before, and I don't know how it even happened, but my pubic area has weird bumps that have pus in them. How can I fix this? PLEASE HELP!!

Answers:
The skin in the pubic area is very delicate and when the pores become clogged they become inflamed. This is usually caused by shaving and occasionally wearing tight clothing (biking shorts, tights/pantyhose) for prolonged periods of time.

Gently exfoliate the area with a loofah or sea sponge using antibacterial soap. If there are open wounds use a little antibacterial ointment to help them heal. Keep the area clean and dry. If the inflammation spreads, becomes locally worse, or you develop other symptoms, see your doctor. It could be a rash or other infection.

Other Answers:
Alcohol it hurts but it works

thats disgusting! Neosporin to help heal it now. After this, use UNSCENTED deoderant after you shave..yes, on the pubic area.

antibiotic ointment.neosporin

Wash the area with hydrogen peroxide, dry it, then apply neosporin. If it's not better in a couple of days, see the doc.
