HELP!! Bad razor burn!!?

Question:
I have horrible bikini line razor buirn and im going to the beach TOMORROW!! what should i do??

Answers:
Well I dont know a fix for tommorow but this is what i do to stop it from happeing at all. After your done shaving and you get out of the shower dry your area off and mix just a little St.Ives Advanced Therapy lotion for extra dry skin and some Suave Ocean Breeze lotion with vitamin E and Aloe Vera it is in a light green bottle and put just a little of both in your hand and rub it in. Your skin will be baby soft and NO RAZOR BURN. Its great. Oh and I use Gillette Venus 3 for women it also comes in a light green package. I wont use no other razor or u might get a burn even with the lotion.

Other Answers:
Well, hate to bear bad news, but salt water will irritate it. Get some Bikini Zone cream and apply it. It will look better tomorrow, but you'll still be able to see it. You might have to postpone that beach trip.

Razor burn is caused by various things: using a dull blade, shaving against the direction of the hair growth, not letting the hair soften enough (3-4 minutes) before starting to shave, shaving the same spot over and over. The bikin area is so, so sensitive. There are actually some pretty nasty bacteria that live on your skin (staphyloccoccus, for one) that can invade the area you have just shaved, or the hair follicles themselves, and cause the rash.
Use hair thinning lotion in the area and as for tomorrow, Desitin will make the bumps smaller.
