Actually, the only way to "cure" urinary infection is without Drugs, if we mean by Drugs, antibiotic. This is because, though the antibiotics may temporarily clear up the infection, they actually breed super resistant strains, and more saliently, DESTROY the body's microflora which exist as the first line of defense against such infections. The good bacteria, for instance, known as lactobacillus plantarum, naturally protects your urinary tract, producing hydrogen peroxide which destroy the anaerobic bacteria that cause infection.
When we take antibiotics, we kill both the offending bacteria and our natural friendly bacteria (which we are only given one opportunity to acquire: at birth).

I would take Juniper extract if you are looking for a bactericidal agent that is safe, won't kill the good bacteria, and has been shown effective against antibiotic resistant strains of bacteria that cause urinary tract infections. I would also take a good mix of bacteria by a company called Mega Food.its called Mega Flora, and will go a long way to undo the damage done by antibiotics.

Keep in mind too, that you may not have a bacteria caused urinary infection. You could have the overgrowth of candida albicans, which naturally occurs in your body, but gets out of control because of antibiotics, or antibiotic chemicals, e.g. chlorine in tap water, or sodium flouride in toothpaste. This yeast can by changing the ph of your urinary tract, inviting the bad bacteria to take up residency. In that cause it would be a good idea to take grapefruit seed extract, as well, or, try a broad spectrum herb like oregano oil which kills all kinds of bad guys: bacteria, yeast, viruses, etc.

Drinking cranberry won't help, if its Ocean Spray. Better to take d-mannose capsules (an extract of cranberry), or Knudsen't "just cranberry," which is sugar free.

Drinking cranberry juice and a lot of water. Cranberry Juice is amazing for that . it ALWAYS works for me and my friends!

lots of water, cranberry juice, take aspirin.. and stay out of the pool, jacuzzi and sex for a while..stay as clean as possible too until it heals.

Go to a doctor for antibiotics. If you don't treat a UTI, it will become a bladder or kidney infection, and that can kill you. Don't take chances with your health like that.

Drinking water and cranberry juice can help to prevent UTIs, but it will not get rid of them. You need to see a doctor.

You can try to flush out the bacteria by drinking a lot of water and/or cranberry juice. But depending on the severity, the infection might be continue, and if you don't watch out, could eventually even get up to the kidneys. If after three or four days on lots of water/cranberry juice it's not getting better, please see a doctor and take prescription medication. You might otherwise get even more serious health condition with an untreated UTI!

Cranberry Juice or Cranberry vitamins from a drug store Grapefruit Seed Extract (pills or drops) is an excellent natural antibiotic for all types of infections including UTIs. You can buy it at health food stores and on line.
Also there is a product called D-Mannose which is a simple sugar. It prevents the bacteria from sticking to the bladder. It will cure a UTI and is also a great preventative.

Drink plenty of cranberry juice, make sure you take your antibiotic medication everyday or else it will come back and also to not wear nylon underwear only cotton, do not use colored tissue paper and avoid rough sexual intercourse.

Seek medical attention. Cranberry juice or any other liquids CANNOT help you get rid of the urinary infection. Most likely you will be prescribed antibiotics. Go see your doc ASAP.
