I got my period 12 days before I am schedualed to. Is that alright?

Question:
I asked my mom and she said it could be because of the heat outside, but I'm still concerned and confused.

Answers:
are you stressed out about anything right now? stress can cause your period to be either late or early. so if you are really concerned about anything right now, or if you have anything that is really bothering you, that could be it.

another concern, however, would be that you may have some cysts on your ovaries which can cause your cycle to be irregular, meaning your period to be early or late. i would check this out with your doctor, especially if you typically have very regular periods. women who have very regular periods and become irregular out of the blue usually have something else going on, like a hormonal imbalance, or a little cyst. ovarian cysts can be fixed with the birth control pill. i would make an appt with your doctor just incase if this is really out of the blue and very wierd for you.

yeah it happens.. i hate period
A lot of people don't have regular periods. Most aren't on a set schedule. Sometimes it comes late, sometimes early. It's perfectly normal.
If you're young (a teenager or preteen, even young adult) your period may not be as constant as you think. I wouldnt try scheduling it on an exact day but try to be alert for the week that you think it might come. It's normal though.
Yeah thats fine, as the girl said above. Most girls dont have a perfect sedule of when they start and end and so on. You are perfectly fine though. And the heat and mess with it to. Dont worry!
Mine's changed every month or so since I got it some years ago. It's normal.
