Most asexuals are not virgins. Its not a requirement. I know because I'm an asexual.
Asexual is a sexual orientation just like being gay or straight. You are born that way.
One thing asexuals seem to have in common is that we first noticed that we were "different" when, after puberty, our friends started taking an interest in the opposite sex - and we stayed the same as before - even into adulthood.
The reason that not all asexuals are virgins is because of social pressure. We live in a society where you are supposed to want to have sex, get married and have kids. I have done things because of social pressure as have many asexuals. Of course, I didn't know there was such a thing as asexual back then.
Now that the asexual orientation is better known, my hope is that other asexuals will not make the same mistakes I have. The bottom line is that you should not do things simply because of peer or social pressure.
Before you assume that you are an asexual, you owe it to yourself to have yourself checked medically. There are hormonal conditions that can cause ISD (Inhibited Sexual Desire) and they can sometimes be treated.
I'm the real deal, but that doesn't mean that you are. Being an asexual in a sexual society is really the pits. I have even wished that I was gay because it seems that anything is better that being asexual.

I think you simply need to wait until someone makes you feel that you want to discover more of their/your body possibilities and when you do you'll feel gratified you waited until you met the right person, be they male or female.
