i get scared with any sound, i need help?


Question:
door closes,listening music in my headphone,when i walk outside and i hear the car noises i get scared,sometimes my body jumps up .no jokes can i get help from a doctor or im just stuck with it.just about any noise i hear,when i log on to my computer it says wlcome i know its coming but i still get startled.

I used to get that too when I was younger. It's called "Too-Much-Horror-Movies-For-
You-Young-Lady" Syndrome. You can go to the doctor and they'll make you watch a hundred Care Bear cartoon episodes and you'll feel much better!

OK, now seriously...Don't get your self treated for nothing. You are fine. Honestly, I used to get it all the time but it's just a phase you go through and really, I think I watched way too many horror movies. You get over it.

If you go to a shrink, he'll just blabber on and make you feel like you're a psycho when you're not, all while you fill his pockets with unnecessary money. He'll put some big label on you as a diagnosis and that's it! You're labelled for life. He'll give you all this bs medication and now you're really screwed when you really weren't before. Suddenly you have this limitation in life you never knew you had. It's all garbage.

Be the best you can be. Know the sky is the limit. Gain some self-confidence. Join some social groups/clubs like sports, literary, art, science, etc, etc, etc....
Soon enough you'll even forget you had asked this question...

I have Post traumatic stress disorder and it sounds like you may also have it. It can be treated.
If you have been doing drugs too much, this can lead to this condition.

You may be experiencing "panic attacks" which come in many different forms. This is a medical condition and you need to discuss it with your Doctor.

Dont self diagnose seek help and sooner than later and you will find that there is an answer and help to make you better.
You need a shot of self confidence! Have you tried to concentrate on a hobby or sport or something new and different? Perhaps you could talk to a pastor or good friend for some advice. What are you worried about? "Today is the day you worried about yesterday." ----------- and "Worry is like a rocking chair, it never has gotten you anywhere" Laugh at it , pray about it , and ask yourself..."What's the worst thing that could happen when I hear a sound?"...
