if u can answer mine very fast!?

Question:
well my friends say that tampons and tampax are not good for teens.do u really think its right?how does it work?what may happend after that?

Answers:
i use them and i am fine. i am 13 and i switched to just using platex plastic applicator tampons during the day and at night super long always pads. to me tampons are easier and more comfortable. u don't feel leaks and you can go on a little longer for about like 4 hours before changing into a new one. if u r scared that it is going to hurt use slimfits by Platex that is also a plastic applicator. i believe that plastic applicators are easier to insert and much more comfortable..give the tampon thing a try and see if you like it.

Other Answers:
there is nothing wrong with using tampons in yuor teens, though you may find the slim fit ones by Playtex more comfortable,.

I don't use them, I am afraid, so that's my thought. Not true. If tampons were harmful, do you really think that they would still be selling them?

Teens can use Tampax/tampons..get the slender fit. Read the instructions on the box, talk with your mom about it. Be sure to change it often. There is a risk of toxic shock syndrome associated with tampon use, so follow instructions carefully.

Just be sure to get the right size and you should be fine. I started using them at 11 and I got the slim ones.just be careful. And if they are too uncomfortable just use Maxi Pads.

Using tampons are fine, but make sure you have the right one for your flow. Tampons can cause TSS (toxic shock syndrome). All boxes of tampons come with information on it. So if you can then do. tampons wont hurt you, try the slim fit ones. i always used them and had no problems. once you use them you wont ever want to use another pad.

Dude how old are u? U should kno this already. Its not just teens those kinds of things hav risks for anybody. They say that there is a like water shock u get but that doesn't happen often. I dunno how it works. I don't think anything will happen after you use one.

well my nurse said that girls any age that have their period can use tampons and it will not hurt them!

go with the thinnest, change them often, or you might get toxic shock syndrome which is a deadly disease. It is a tube of absorbant stuff that gets put inside your vagina and fills with blood, it can be uncomfortable or tear your hymen. Only use it after you have learned how to use pads I don't think it's not safe. However, with any woman who uses tampons have the possibility to get an infection. I forget what it's called, but if you look inside the box of tampons, it's there on the little paper.

chill there fine

tampons are ok for teens my girls use theme and they are 15 &17 and nothing should happen even a virgin can use a tampon

playtex tampons r easy 2 use. I have a 16 year old that uses them and she has no problems. remember 2 change every few hours a tampon should not be left for more than 4 hours. do not flush them use bags n though them out,its bad 4 the toilet. if u have problems with the instruction ask ur obgyn or go 2 planned parent hood if ur mother will not help. it can be a little funny having mom in the bathroom showing u.my daughter n I had a very funny afternoon her first time using them. she kept putting them in wrong and I had 2 help her her first 2 or 3 times in getting the direction right.u will know if u have it in wrong it is very uncomfortable. n no they do not go in deep enough 2 make u not a virgin if u r. they are fine if you use the right fit and make sure you change them so you don't get toxic shock syndrome.

tampons are a good thing. it helps you when you want to swm and suff. im 14 and use tampons. the only thing is make sure you change them about every 3-4 hours otherwise you could get tss(toxic shoch syndrome). which is very dangerouse and can kill you. but that is very rare if you are useing your tampons right. have a happy period.xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox.
