HEY I need some opinions on my period, please.?

Question:
You know how you should have a period every like, 20 days, around there? Well, it's been 49 days I think since my last period. I'm only 15. What do you think could be wrong---no, I'm not pregnant because I've not had unprotected sex.

Answers:
If you have been having periods regularly, and this is the first time something like this has happened, then you need to see your doctor to determine what the cause may be. It could be a hormonal or thyroid imbalance, stress, amongst other reasons but the only way to know for sure is to see your doctor for an exam and testing.

Other Answers:
The average, they say, is 28 days (not 20). If you recently started your period then it may take a few years for you to become regular. You could go see a gyno and get put on birth control if you want it to come more regularly.

one of my friends has gone longer than that many times. don't worry about it until it gets to be like 3 or 4 months then go a OB/Gyn. and i hope by you saying you not haveing unprotected sex means that you haven't had sex yet. You absolutely need to see a doctor! If you have had normal period cycles of 28 days and have suddenly stop, you may have a serious health problem. Even "protected" sex can result in a pregnancy. Condoms are not 100% effective nor is the pill or any contraceptive.

if you have had sex at all you could be pregnant, consult your doctor

have you been irregular before? Wait and see next month
