what can i do if i dont get my monthly period, and the doctor says i'm not pregnant?

Question:

Answers:
First of all, it is not unusual for women to miss a period every so often.
You may be pregnant but the urine test is unable to detect pregnancy hormone. Did your doctor administer a blood test? If your not pregnant, you may have missed your period due to stress, a hormone irregularity, polycystic ovaries, an ovarian cyst, a thyroid disorder or even a simple cold. You need to find a doctor who is willing to do what is necessary to find out why you are missing periods if this is an ongoing occurence. Please be very careful taking any medications, or using alcohol until you are confident you are not pregnant.
