help with tampons please!!?
Question:
Answers:
This is quite normal if you have had the tampon in for a while and it is "full". The vagina is self cleaning and that is what it is doing.
Make sure you read the insert that comes with the tampons and that you are changing within the recommended times. If you are not you are risking serious infection.
You may find a different brand works better for you. As you have only been menstrating for 6 months do you think that using tampons is a good idea? Maybe you should wait a while and then try again.
If the tampon is "coming down" too soon, you are changing regularly and it isn't full then you might want to check on your pelvic floor muscles. If they are slack you can get exercises to do to firm them up. Good pelvic floor muscles support all of your pelvic organs including your bladder and uterus so it is essential that they are in good order to help prevent prolapse and incontinence.
This is not a question that gets asked much so well done you for asking. If you are really concerned go and ask your practise nurse or a female doctor. I say female as they will have personal experience!
Other Answers:
You should be using a bigger tampon then. Try a regular or super.
Muhahahahaaaa!
How many kids did you say you got?
Use duct tape
well you can can get a bigger tampon or switch to using a pad.
Hope i helped!
try Tampax pearl they work really well and the plastic ones get all up in there plus they have a brade at the end to prevent leakage
you should try changing it ever 4-6 hours... this may help... size is pretty much for flow, but can effect how it fits properly.
use correct size and wen inserting it in u need to have one leg up and one down
when you insert you need to sit and insert push towards the back until you are up to your finger joint or nuckle sounds like you arent inserting properly give it a go noting to lose good luck
I hate tampons. Why would anyone want a piece of cotton up their s h i t - with blood just rotting on it. And then you keep it on for a few hours. The idea of it is disgusting. I hate pads also but at least the blood is out of my body and on a pad instead of rotting inside my body on a piece of cotton!
Try a larger tampon size, also do Kegel exercises to strengthen those muscles that hold it in place.
Maybe you should by the more bigger tampons.... also maybe you dont have a heavy flow.... so get tampons for a light to medium flow.
try a pad; I find them to be easier and more comfortable
What is eventually? you should change tampons every two hours away. as they because saturated they will slide out.
You have to point the tampon toward your back at an angle, push the applicator until you feel its back far enough and then push the plunger. pearl is the best kind to use. pull on the string until it is comfortable. if you can feel its there after you done this, its not in the correct postion.
THERE IS A MUSCLE IN THERE THAT YOU HAVE TO GO PAST. THAT IS WHAT KEEPS IT IN. IF YOU ARE NOT SEXUALLY ACTIVE IT MAY TAKE A WHILE FOR YOU TO GET IT RIGHT. IF YOU ARE SEXUALLY ACTIVE YOU MAY NEED TO GO TO A LARGER TAMPON.
Try using a medium or large, even if it's more difficult to insert. Have you tried different brands or types, i.e. plastic applicators, cardboard applicators, finger applicators, etc.
I don't mean to be gross - but the larger tampon, even though you don't need it for your flow, might stay in better. Other than that, you'll know when it's sliding out and you'll just have to excuse yourself and stick it back up again.
You might try asking your gynecologist - or if he's male - his nursing staff. (I doubt he's encountered this problem!) This IS a common problem. You're brave for asking about what to do !
Good Luck!!!
Just switch to a tampon that does not say slender. Tampons only come in two sizes slender and not slender. If it doesn't say slender on the box then it is larger in size. Regular and super are measures of absorbency not size and you shouldn't use a more absorbent tampon than you need for the amount of your flow.
try using a bigger tampon or eventually switch to a pad.
