Has anyone ever had a repeat c-section?

i went thru 19 hours of labor then had a c-section anyway then 19 months later i had a scheduled c-section my recoveries were equally painful

it is just as bad as the first c-section if not worse. i was in more pain and it took longer for my incision to heal the second time. when i left the hospital i still had staples in my stomach the second time.
I have had 2 c-sections and after the second one I was still really sore and it took me a few weeks to get back to where i could at least do somethings. One thing I would recommend is to make sure you pay attention to your first child i did but my son was upset because i couldn't hold him and he didn't understand that it was going to be awhile before i could get down to the floor and play with him. You will be back on your feet soon just don't rush it and you will heal better. Hope I helped. Congratulations on the new baby. Pain wise mine was about the same for both.
