If my doc says I'm ok and all my cultures and STD results are fine..?

Question: why am I still bleeding irregularly? I think it's attributed to "The Pill" (ortho tri cyclen lo). I started on it a little over a month ago. The instructions say bleeding may occur during the 1st 3 packs of pills and I'm on the 2nd one now. My vaginal lubrications are slim to none, but I bleed with/ without penetration. Even when I get aroused my "wetness" is slightly bloody and the next few times I go to the bathroom I notice even more blood than usual. Have you ever experienced this? I am 21 if that helps.

Were you regular before the pills? If so you dosage is probable to low. Finish taking them all the way through the 3 months so your body can regulate. If after 3 months you are still having irregular bleeding I would go back to your doctor. If this is your first time using BC pills you might have to try a few different ones to see which one is best for you. Good Luck!

That happened to me only when i had to go on antibiotics for my bladder infection. I was spotting inbetween my periods for a while. Perhaps your spotting has to do with another medication you're taking?
