2-3 days before my period I feel like I have a slight baldder infection,does anyone experience this?

2-3 days before I start it feels like a slight bladder infection coming on then after I start it goes away. Usually thats how I know Im about to start my monthly cycle.I brought this up to my doctor and she didnt have anything to say except drink more water?
