How long does it take to get your period after you stop taking the pill?

Question:
stopped taking my pill on 07/03/06, got break thru bleeding for 2 days and now my period is 15 days late...all pregnancy tests are negative...is that something to be worried about?

Answers:
It can take you a month or two to regain your normal cycle again. It depends on your personal cycle and when you stopped the pills and which part of the pills when you stopped. If you has sex, it's always possible to be come pregnant. But, that asside, your body has to regain it's balance of hormone production, uterine build up and egg production. After tricking your body for as long as you've been on the pill, it's to be expected to take a while before everythings back to your normal cycle. If you should be worried, do visit your doctor/ob-gyn.

Other Answers:
can take up to 3 months.

Chill out, relax, it will come, once your body adjusts to the hormone change.
you should check in with your doctor and tell him this it might be that you stop the pill at the wrong time but just incase a check up would be better
Careful, one time it took me 9 months!
depends. have you been eating properly? mine takes 2 days, but recently, i bled while i was taking them. before, i got worried because i haven't had my period after 2 weeks, i bought a pregnancy test just to be sure and wont be bothered. i had it after 3 weeks. your body might be adjusting to something new, like a change of diet, or do you take laxatives, etc.
