neative pregnancy test =(?

Question:

I just did a pregnancy test and it was negative, I was so sure that it was going to be positive, im really crushed. Has anyone ever thought they were pregnant and the timing was all wrong and you weren't planning for it but you still kind of enjoyed the idea? only to then find out your not. I feel so depressed, even though my bf relieved and i know i should be, im not, im so upset by it. help =(

I guess I can kind of understand what you are going through.

I got married, 3 months later went for my honeymoon and one month after I came back from my honeymoon, I started feeling really bad.. I started to have aches, feel tired, indigestion, vomitting spells... and so my friend suggested that I check if I am pregnant.

I was not really ready to have a baby at that time as I had wanted to enjoy our life together a little more. But it did feel fun if I were really pregnant cos I have been liking kids alot more than I usually do since I got married.

I bought an over the counter test kit and the results seems to be negative. I was a little relieved.. but at the same time also disappointed.

But just to make sure, I went to the doctor's and did a test (because I still had to find out why I was feeling so bad) and the doctor's test came out positive. That also brought me a mixture of joy and apprehension...

I guess you are upset because you were SO SURE that it would be positive and have already prepared for a positive answer.

But in life, we don't always get what we want. Pls do not be upset. I am a firm believer that if god (whatever your religion is) did not give me what I want, it is always because he wants to give me something better and that is ALWAYS TRUE.

I was so upset when my boyfriend of 5 years broke up with me. I was so sure he was the one I would marry. But if he did not break up with me, I would not have found the wonderful husband that I have now and have the cute little kid I have now. (You can see his pics at http://verityy.blogspot.com)

I could name you many more examples in my life. I didn't get the job I really wanted and ended up in another job which brought me to where I am today- an enterpreneur with my own biz.

I couldnt find my size for this dress that I wanted and ended up finding a prettier dress.

You might want to find some hobbies to take up to stop yourself from thinking too much. You are young, if you really wanted a baby, you could always try again.

I have been in that position. Although I was a little sad, I knew it was for the best. Now that I am married and we are planning for a family, I'm glad I wasn't pregnant then. I wasn't ready to be a mom.

No. I'm so sorry. If you wanted to be than its tough to get the negetive sign. I hope your boyfriend is understanding of your feelings. This may be something you should discuss if you have opposite reactions like this. Good luck

I'm so sorry... I really know how you feel..
I go through this every month only I do much more than you did to get pregnant!! I'm really having a hard time, and that big fat negetive is really frustrating...

Just calm your self down. The test may be wrong. If you took a store bought one. They work worth crap. Go to the doc's and they WILL have a better pot look.

This happened to me as well. I wanted a child so badly but it wasn't in God's plans at that time. I don't know your faith but I prayed and asked for God to give me the desires of my heart, I was pregnant within 2 months. I would also suggest before you get pregnant to make sure the man you are with is the right man for you and be committed in marriage. Pray and ask God his will for your life.
