Birth Control Pills?

Question:
I just started taking BCP's, about a month and a half ago. I continue to get lighheadness and mild headaches once in a while. Is this normal, or should I ask my GYN. to prescribe me a different brand of BCP's.

Answers:
Typically, doctors will say that it takes about three months to get adjusted to your bcps. However, I think that I would contact the doctor and let him/her know what is going on. You might keep a health journal (I do). This is one way to track when it's happening during your cycle. As one who has taken several varieties of bcps, this has come in quite handy for me. (I'm just thankful that I don't have to worry about that anymore.)

Take care and good luck!
You should not be taking birth control pills. They have harmful side effects and will give you cancer.
