I hear it is instant to get pregnant once you stop birth control, is this true?

My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for 2 years and failed. So I started birth control because I hear once you get off of it you get pregnant right away. Both my sister n' laws did this and got pregnant RIGHT AWAY and my mother did also, with me. I am taking "Yasmin" right now. Please I would like to hear from the expierenced as well as which BC are you taking and got pregnant with RIGHT after you stopped?

I can't speak for everyone, but it happened to me. I was on BC for years and decided it was time to think about having kids. I was pregnant within 2 weeks of stopping.

My mother could not get pregnant for years, so her doctor told her to go on the pill for 3 months and stop to get pregnant. It worked, and that was 39 years ago! It worked then, it works now.
