Need help about how birth control works!?

Question: I am on birth control right now I had sex last nigth but have not taken my pill for today yet because I wont be able to get home until later today? Should I go to the doctor to get plan b?

Well for most birth controls you are suppost to take them around the same time every day, but if this is your first time to miss, I think you would be ok. I would still talk to my doctor.
