exercise definately helps. i am a gymnast and luckily i dont get cramps! (unless i start on a day that i dont have gym). of course you dont need to go that extreme, but on the day before youre suppose to start, try maybe running or jogging. just keep moving around. also, advil and a heating pad works wonders.
tylenol, heating pad, rest, a few days you will feel btter :):):)
