question on pap smear? plz help?

Question: I got a weird question... today i got a pap smear and I noticed I had some white discharge before she performed the test, well afterwards I was really wet from having it done.. Does that normally happen since they have to get dna stuff from the cervix?

Answers:
It is normal to have some amount of discharge at any given time. When they do a Pap and pelvic exam, the doctor uses a lubricant; , the remaining lubricant is what causes the wetness afterwards. It doesn't sound like anything abnormal happened during your exam.
