How to stop losing hair?

Question:
Maybe it's not so bad now, but during the school year, I'd just casually run my fingers through my hair and several strands of hair would come out. How can I stop that or prevent that?

Answers:
It could be due to some factors:

-genetic, hereditary
-stress
-lack of enough rest
-improper diet
-the shampoo you use.

Try switching to another shampoo and buy one that is good, as recommended by the pharmacist/ beauty therapist.
it is normal to lose about 40 hair per day.

Other Answers:
Sleep well, eat nuts, don't use too much shampoo, relax!

if you find the cure all let me know.
Stop using shampoos. Wash your hairs with milk.
most thing to do it goto ur dr.. i have an afro but i get it done, and getting it done to look like nice hair, rly puts a lot of strain on it... if u wear elastic bands to tye ur hair up, stop. this is something that breaks your hair... if you have dry scalp, moistureize it so the living hair at the top can grow and become strong.. shampoos can help, but if u want a good tip goto ur dr.
taking vitiamns ( they make them for hair and nails) will prevent you from losing your hair you should see me when i wash then brush my own hair i hae to clean out my brush twice lol you will see a difference after about a week to 10 days
