I am suposed to have my first period in the next month but if it does not come?

You can never predict when your first period is going to start. It could start from age 11-16, any time of the day or any month. It depends on hormones, heredity, body fat, etc. Worrying won't help. Wear a panty liner if you are worried about starting at school, and carry back up pads, or tampons (if you know how to use em).

Why are you 'supposed' to have your first period? Nobody knows when they're going to have their first period - some women menstruate at the age of 10 - others start at 16. And at first they can be irregular - not every month.
If you're really worried, and I know this can distract you from other things, just wear a sanitary napkin [unless you are able to wear a tampon] and you'll feel more secure.
How do you know you're going to be getting your first period next month?? No girl knows exactly when her first period will come. If you're worried, just go pick up a small box of panty liners (really cheap like $.99) and wear those. Carry some pads and tampons in your purse or backpack just in case.
As for the other girl who asked if you can wear 2 pads or whatever, I don't reccomend that. It will be uncomfortable and why would you do that anyway? When you do get your peiod, you can wear a tampon and a panty liner (which is what i do) at the same time, but just know how to use the tampon properly or it will be uncomfortable. Good luck, girls!
keep calm....it is natural....just take a extra pair of clothes....and take tampons or pads with you just ..........not that you have to do all that but if it makes you feel better .....go for it
