how can i know if my uterus is back to its normal size and right place?

i just gave birth almost 5 weeks ago and am not sure if my uterus is back where should it be. i have been reading that sometimes it can fall and am scare. can i feel it if is falling down??? help? and i cant wait til my 6 weeks check up!! one more question can i have sex or shoukd i wait til my doctor say so?

calm down now, everything is just fine. uteri can fall out, but if it did you would know it and it usually doesnt happen until women are older. it does not happen after childbirth. do your kegels to keep the pelvic muscles strong. your uterus is probably a little larger than normal as it has only been 5 wks. generally, you should wait 6 wk before having sex after a delivery-especially if you had any stitches placed
