i know i am not a woman but i can answer. it'a the hormone estrogen like testosterone in men. estrogen is a growth hormone in females that at puberty causes groeth of sex organs and secondary sex characteristics like breast development, broadening of pelvis, distribution of fat muscle, and during menstral it stimulates growth of FOLLICLES, stimulates growth of the endometrium, increases peristaltic movements of the uterine tubes, and makes cervical mucus thinner and more alkaline. all these changes to increase sperm survival.
