Do you think we should get a vocher each month allowing us to free sanitry products?

Question:

Answers:
Yes i think we should! When anyone can pick up free condoms for safe sex, we should get help of some sort towards protection. I can't see any government agreeing to do it though! My alternative would be that protection should be VAT free at the very least.

We live more active lives than women did in the bad old days when they could wash cloths (As answerer 1 suggested) And i can't see any employer feeling too happy if we were to turn up with soiled clothes. Then again, and even though it is a well know fact that women menstruate . No one seems to consider that tampons/towels are considered as luxury items and VAT imposed on them.

How can they be regarded as luxury? They are a necessity, to ourselves and society at large! Bleed over a seat in a club/bus/office etc . No one will be amused!

Maybe women should regroup and demand (If not vouchers) at least VAT removed having said that .. Were women to demand free vouchers, someone might decide that it would save pennies if they simply removed VAT.

Other Answers:
No. why should we? we could use rags and wash them like they have to in many countries.
We dont expect free soap, hairbrushes etc

Sure why not? But, it won't happen. You have to pay for everything in this life. What did they do in the olden days?I dont think they used wings. They cut up old rags.you dont have to pay,cut up old material.boil it and re-use.Its just like babies.you dont have to pay for nappies.use terry towelling.

Yaah great idea.

Yes we should. We don't have a choice in whether we have periods every month - men do have a choice whether to shave or not.

No. If you can't afford disposable menstrual products, maybe you should try some reusuble products like a diva cup or keeper or reusable pads. i have two daughters menstruating PLUS me, I understand paying for them because they are considered a luxury item.. but taxing them is ridiculous. There are more widely available options now.
In the 1940's they used sponges ..look up online seapearls.co.uk.
takes a bit of getting used to but £7.99 and they last for 6 months.
There's also beppe sponges which means you can still have sex and the mooncup is another good envoirmental saver.
but yeah, men get condoms free, why is sanitary so expensive?
it should be free to under 16's i think. it costs me about £25 amonth for the giirls and me, its a bloody rip off!

YES, YES, YEEEESSSS! It's not our fault we have periods is it?
