Any women had a "MARSUPALIZATION" of Bartholins Gland?

Question: If so, what was your experience like?
Recovery time?
Scarring?
Affect sexual relations?... how long you have to wait to resume?

Answers:
i haven't, but my mum had. she said it was very painful but completely recovered in about three weeks, although sexually she didn't feel up to it for 6 months, but i think that was a personal choice. her and my dad boast about still being sexually active in their 60's (embarrassing, i know, they are usually full of drink when they discuss it!!!) so long term i don;t think it has effected her sexual relationship or her sex drive.
