why do i feel a buzzing feeling in my right foot?

Question:
I am 38 years old and in good shape! But the last few weeks i swear i feel like i have cell phone buzzing in my right foot. I dont think i am going crazy. Anyone know what i am talking about and if so, what the heck it that??

Answers:
Does it feel like your foot's gone to sleep? It could be a problem with a nerve. It could also be poor circulation to that foot. The feeling that we get when a body part "goes to sleep" is caused by abnormal nerve functioning due to pressure on a nerve or lack of blood flow to the body part. This pressure on a nerve or lack of blood flow interferes with nerve inpulses, so proper communication between the brain and the nerve cannot occur. The tingling feeling when a foot falls asleep is essentially nerves functioning erratically because they aren't receiving signals from the brain properly. So if you have a similar feeling, it could be that you have a problem with a nerve in your foot.

Did your foot fall asleep? Otherwise I'm not sure, mention it to your doctor next time you go in for a check up.
Nerve spasm. I get the same thing sometimes. I don't know of any way to get rid of it except to wait for it to go away.
I read somewhere that tingling feet is a symptom of diabetes
possible nerve damage. do you have a herniated disk in your lumbar spine ? see a nerusurgeon.
Well it could be a series of problems

Do you Smoke?

The buzzing could be related to muscle tension.

try some foot exercises like straiting your leg and flexing your foot so your toes are facing you..

GO TO A DOCTER if all else fails.

if you are worried about it.
I would guess it is neurological, probably a compressed nerve.
