I have been having pain on both sides of my lower back. see details please?

Question:
It feels internal (like kidneys). My kidneys don't function. I currently have a functioning transplant. I went to the doc and all the tests were neg. (no urinary/bladder/kidney infections, my new kidney is working beautifully). They told me to go home and rest, they didn't know what was causing it. I have no pain anyone else (including my new kidney site). Could this be from a virus? Has anyone else had such pain that came and went away on it's own? It's been 3 days and it still hurts. Thank-you in advance.

Answers:
Are you urinating well? Generally ladies are a little lazy in going to the Loo!! Drink lots of water and frequesbtly urinate!!!It need not be due to any Virus. Or if yoiu sleep on your back for long( on synthetic mattresses) you may develope Sciatica which will show these symptoms. Try lying down on flat wooden cots with as little cusion as possible. Do not lie down for long periods. Walk slowly around. Take the feeling of transplant away from you. You are over anxious about it!!!

Other Answers:
You have had a transplant. The best advice for your condition is that you should not seek any advice except from the doctors who are aware of your case history.
The pain that u feel now can be from the effect of ur body trying to addapt with new organs. If the lab examinations confirm that u have no antibodies reactions, infections, and others; then i can assure u that u should be fine.
About the virus, this could be tricky. My suggestion is try to get regular check-ups, and monitor ur progress for 1 year.
Hope this helps..Gud luck and rest well.
Keep consulting your doctor and do some work out suitable to your condition.
when u know about the history of Ur's pain then u should not take the risk of asking any one for advice.if the pain persists then again ask for doc's advice.u can have the hot water bag recipe.
why not get a massage from a registered therapist to rule out the musculoskeletal pain you could be having from post-surgery scarring and tension. it couldn't hurt.
