Oh Yes! They call it vaginal astropy. The lining of the vagina thins and tears because of a lack of estrogen. Ask your doctor about prescribing some estrogen cream that is applied vaginally. This will bring back the elastisity and make intercourse easier. There is also a wonderful thing called Astroglide that is far better than KY.
