ok ladies help...?
Question:
Answers:
Tampons are dry wads of material, your vagina is a moist area with delicate mucus membranes – it will hurt because of friction and drying of the mucus membranes. If you do not insert high enough there will also be pain but more so than what you'd experience with mere friction burns, if this is the case the tampon should be removed and reinserted. It is also possible to be allergic to the chemicals within commercial tampons; tampons can also contribute to menstrual cramps.
You may not be able to use tampons, in which case you may want to switch to pads, free-flow methods or menstrual cups, these are also much safer and more hygienic than tampons. You may want to try other types of tampons such as if you are using applicator switch to non-applicator, if you are using commercial or organic tampons you may want to try sponge tampons, homemade tampons or soft tampons.
If you continue to use tampons you may want to try laying down on your bed with your back propped up against a pillow so you can see your vulva [external part of your genitals], perhaps with a mirror as well to help you see where it is going, and use KY jelly to make it easier to insert. Another idea is to masturbate as this will insure enough lubrication, your vagina relaxes and lengthens when aroused making insertion easier.
It always does, It will get easier. Try using them with KY Jelly.
